A very quick post...

Hi Friends!

Well, it took me over an hour but I think I got caught up on your blogs. I didst see a post from Katie though.....anybody know if shes been on the blogs??

All is well here. I had today off and went to get my temporary crown today. The permanent crown will be placed on March 15th. I'm 2/3 of the way done with this saga and I will be glad when it is over. Ive had enough Novocaine, thank you very much.

Diet wise, I feel fantastic!!!! Got on the scale this morning and it looks promising....looks like down 2-3# this week, HOWEVER I never get too excited until I get on WWs scale. Theirs is the true number I go off of. I have been very good not eating between meals and only eating when I am truly hungry & stopping when I am comfortable SATISFIED, NOT FULL. Its been a sacrifice and it makes me happy inside to know that I am doing something this lent that isn't easy. I feel good, in control and am amazed at how little my body truly needs to function. Don't worry Rosalie, I am eating enough. lol. I find that dinner is by far my favorite meal so I always have a great supper. Tonight I had taco salad. It was weird eating it because I was still numb from the Novocaine, but it was almost 4pm and I was really really hungry so I made that jaw of mine work. hahaha!

Hubby is missing me and I need to go & pack my lunch so I will bid you all a short farewell for now. I will post on Saturday to let you know how my weigh in went.

Have a great rest of the week!!!

Hugs
Sherri

  1. Hey Sherri, congrats on the weight loss even though you are not counting it until your WW weigh in. I am going in next week to get my crown prep. I have a cracked tooth and so the need of a crown. I will be joining WW in a couple of weeks. I am really getting excited to become a member again. I am sure I will bring a little of the BFC with me. Hope we can get some time to chat again soon. I have been working 12hr days and have not had much time to do anything.

  4. Congrats on the weight loss and ongoing success! The last I heard, Katie and her hubs are buying a house, so I'm sure they're in the midst of moving, etc. The last time Cat posted, she was super busy with school on top of everything else, and I'm sure that hasn't ended yet.

  5. Yeah I love hearing from you! I have a feeling you are going to have a FANTASTIC "official" weigh in this week. I agree with you that giving up snacks and really paying attention to what we are eating is key. I'm with you in that dinner is my best meal, probably because we are cooking and eating with the family for that meal. I hope the rest of the tooth repair goes well. Putting on the permanent is WAY easier than the root canal part! Can't wait to hear about your success!

  6. It's so good to hear from you! And you are going to be a loser, I just know it! My hubby had to go get a temporary crown today. He was loopy from the gas when he got home. He has had so much dental work done and his Dad was a dentist:)
Keep being a good girl and I am so glad you are doing well!
I forgot about the Buckle! Dang...that is a GREAT idea. At Christmas they told me about their jean fitters. You are a smart lady. The ones I returned were 200.00! I want a pair of jeans to lift my butt!

  8. Sherri, I've missed you. Glad the dental work is nearly finished. Awesome job on the weight loss. You are amazing! Keep up the good work. I would so be like you with that taco salad. Most people would skip dinner if their mouth was numb...but not me...or you!! We love our food. I'm with you about the Lent sacrifice. It feels good to work at it and stay in control. I'm not having any sweets, even BFC ones. Hugs and love! Take care!

  9. Hey Sherri, I was wondering if you could give me the baked oatmeal recipe I cant seem to find the one I use to have. I also was wondering what ranch dressing do you use? I remember some of them being kind of high in points. Could you please email me the info at fancydi@aol.com

    Thanks
