Some pics & a quick post....

Good morning friends!

Well, I am off to the gym to work out but wanted to share some photos with you. I started my weight loss journey in the fall of 2010. These are my before photo & an updated photo taken last week. I was blown away by the difference in my profile. So when you feel discouraged that the scale isn't moving to the number you want it to, take a look at some photos, take your measurements or put on a pr of jeans that you haven't been able to wear in a while and let that be a source of encouragement to you in your weight loss. Just seeing these photos really opened my eyes to just how well I am doing.
I must go now as I have a date with the elliptical at the gym! :) Oh, and by the way, I rejoined my fitness center that I belonged to last year and I am soooo happy I did! It wasn't cheap as it is an amazing facility. It's like the Taj Mahal of fitness centers, but I decided that I am worth every penny!!! :)  I was there 2 hrs on Tues. I did 65 mins on the elliptical & 20 mins on the bike and then walked the track a few laps to cool down. I burned over 650 calories!!  Gonna go & burn some more fat today!
Here are my pics. Can you see the diffference??

Me~ Aug 2010 About 216ish :(   (NOT happy & looking pregnant!!Uggh!)

Me~ Dec 31, 2011 weighing 177.4 (38.6# less!!) :)
To each of you, have a fantabulous day!! I will catch up with blogs later tonight.
Love & Belief always!

  2. I can see a big difference! Good job!!! This is why I wish I had before pictures of myself. Like I said before, I have some pictures after I had already lost 30 lbs., but those don't seem like good representative before pictures because 30 lbs. does make a BIG difference...oh well.

Note to everyone else...get before pictures of yourself before you lose weight; you'll be thankful later.

  4. Look at how beautiful you look!!!
Now if that doesn't put a fire under your butt - I don't know what will.
That's great that you re-joined the gym too. Do what makes you feel good.

  7. Hey twin:) The reason you were going on and on about the food and the stomach cancer, is because you knew deep down that I have been eating a ton of pepperoni sticks, little smokies and sausage! You were helping me get a grip:)
    I love your humor!!!

  11. Sherri, I don't have your email, or maybe I do on facebook, but I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kind words of comfort that you wrote on my blog. I always get the comments emailed to me. Those comments helped me during those long hospital days when I was constantly checking my phone. There was always a little message of support in my email box. I feel like you are an old friend as well. We just seem to have that connection, and now more than ever I do believe our souls and spirit can find those we are compatible with, and make that connection on a higher level. Bless you for putting me and my family on your prayer list. These are difficult days, but ones that we must get through. Thanks again, and big hugs and lots of love to you from me!
